Monthly Archives: October 2010 Poor Alexandra was very sick the day of her senior shoot. She had strep throat….felt terrible. But toughed it out and we shot her session anyway. It’s impossible to imagine that she was in any way under the weather, though. In fact, if this is what she looks like when sick…..wowza is all I have...  I photographed this very handsome young man four years ago when he was graduating from 8th grade instead of from high school. And his mother tells me that she’s been watching my work ever since, determined to have me do his senior portraits. I cannot tell you how amazing that feels! Steven is an exceptional...  I know, I know, you’re saying….”but Jen, that must be a typo. It seems as if so many of your recent seniors have been named Meredith. It’s not that common of a name, this must be wrong…” But nope, I am apparently photographing every 17 year old Meredith in Portland! If you know of any...  These two have been friends since they were 3 and are now graduating together! They had the idea of shooting their senior sessions together and getting a few shots together as well…it worked wonderfully! I actually photographed their older siblings a couple of years ago when they were seniors, click here to see his older...  A girl and her horse….such a precious relationship…..and I love that they wanted to capture it! It was so lovely, I just loved the drama and the visual impact of the riding gear.
