Cameron was asking me this year, “Mom, can we just have normal, store-bought cards this year?” There are plenty of years when we do go that route, but buying character cards just isn’t satisfying for me, I wanted to do something fun this year!
Of course, there was that year when the kids were much younger when I included a photo of them on the card and Rachel had the pleasure of watching one of the boys in her class rip it up and throw it away, simply because it had her picture on it. (broke my heart for her)I certainly did not want to give them any difficulty with this, it’s supposed to be fun!
And now most of my kids are so old…it’s easy to do fun valentines for little ones, so “fun” cards are a challenge! Mine are now 15, 14, 11 and 5. How in the world was I going to be able to make home-made valentines cool for the big kids? ……..and then I figured it out………photoshop manipulation!!!!! Haha!
So….2011 valentines revealed. The lollipops will be real, and inserted into the cards, but I just put pictures in for illustration.
Just fyi, “less than three” is what you can type on the keyboard to make a heart! <3
Happy Valentines Day, everyone!
