I was invited to photograph a beautiful family at their home this week. It was a joy to see them interact together.
L had the sweetest little window seat in her room and loved to see what was happening outside.
Isn’t heaven for a toddler just being in her parent’s arms? Well she got a double dose of it here in this image.
And…I think I can see L’s tooth in this shot!

This next one may not be for everyone, because it is not the typical “happy” shot, but I just adore it! Especially since Mother’s Day just passed, this shot really hit me and reminded me of mothers everywhere, comforting their little ones.
As soon as I walked up to the house I just knew that I wanted to use their doorway for some of the shots. It was just an impressive piece of architecture, a substantial piece…..I was excited when they agreed to use it in some of the images.
Very proud grandparents were here for a visit, I was so glad that we got some shots of the whole family all together! Thanks for being so patient, D and S!
L just loved being outside! And we had such gorgeous colors to work with, everything was blooming!
And lastly, a quiet moment at the end of the shoot with dad and daughter. Beautiful.
