Gorgeous fall colors | Portland family portraits

Photographed a lovely family on a lovely fall day….the colors were fabulous! We’d already had to reschedule once due to rain and our next date wasn’t looking so good, so I was thrilled when they were able to arrange their schedules to grab one of the beautiful days we had last week. We were at nature’s mercy, but she was good to us this day!

Now, on to this beautiful family….these boys were so sweet! Seemed to get along fantastically!

These next two make me smile….he’s getting so old….is he too old to lay one on mom’s cheek?

Never. :)

Love it!

The two brothers together….it just reminds me a bit of a Norman Rockwell painting. So I took the processing a different way with this one.

I love how big brother is holding onto little bro, so protectively….”don’t fall in!”

Thanks, guys!

Cathy - I can’t decide which shot is the best of the two boys on the pathway or on the bridge with bare feet. There’s a different feel to each. The mom & dad together and with each of the boys are priceless, a moment in time to remember and smile.

anette - Family sessions can be so hard, but I love how you captured the connection amongst the boys. My favorites got to be the b&w of the parents and the second one of the two boys. The family is beautiful and I love the pretty fall colors. The ones with mom and the oldest boy are soooo cute too!!!
