Happy birthday! | Portland family photography

I have known and photographed this darling girl all her life….starting with her newborn photos. Sadly, (for me) she and her super sweet parents are moving out of state. So we wanted her one year portraits to serve as memories of her home here in Portland, and we photographed her in and around their building.

She makes me smile.

With her best pal Mowgli.

Ok, the idea here was that her dad was supposed to be capturing her attention for me on the outside of this window, and not supposed to be seen in the image, but boy, I just love this “happy accident” just the way it is…..perfect!!!

A memory of her sweet nursery…..

Haha, and this fun, colorful outfit…..I adore how her expression and arms mirror almost exactly Sesame Street’s Zoe on her shirt!

Again, daddy!

Sweetness.

Thanks, guys, for allowing me to see this beauty as she’s grown….hope to see you when you visit!

Jen - Baby was totally safe. I think that when you freeze motion with a camera, the toss always looks much higher than it seemed in person. Also, my perspective from a lower angle helps to add height visually. But no, there was no photoshopping to add height. :)

Thanks for the compliments and comments, all!
