I love a challenge. Something different, something a little out of the ordinary…..just fills me with life.
So when this senior called to schedule a session and talked about doing photos highlighting her dancing ability, I was hooked.
And I liked her name. Sure, there were a million Jennifer’s born in the 70′s, like me, but I rarely hear it anymore from someone so young and lovely. Hello lovely Jenny!
This girl just may be the most natural smiler ever. And it was infectious.
But she could bring out the fierce too….
And then…sigh….on to the dancing! I loved this awesome, weird wall, and loved the chance to shoot on the streets of my own great little Portland!

Did I tell you how much of a trooper Jenny is? It rained through much of our session. And it was really cold. But we shot in the rain when we couldn’t be undercover, and she rocked it. I actually think that the rain adds to the grainy, gritty nature of these dance shots. And I think that Jenny’s hair is amazing. You should’ve seen the crazy, frizzy mess that my hair was in this same rain.
I loved the scaffolding!
