Category Archives: newborns Such a beautiful new girly! Here she is at 5 days old. Amazing eye contact from such a young one: I love this bed for little ones! And we were able to incorporate the quilt that her mom made her! I’m such a sucker for lovely baby rolls…. A couple with big brother… I shot...  Catching up on older sessions that somehow weren’t blogged. LOVE the downy soft hair that newborns are so often covered in! a double cowlick! This family lives on a farm and horses are a huge part of their lives….I loved that they wanted this image and used it on their announcements! As always, photoshop magic...  I haven’t heard of a story like this very often. My little sister Mary married Pat, a great guy! During the wedding preparations, my brother Mark got to know Pat’s sister much better. And they fell in love! So, in my family, we have two siblings from the same two families married to each other!...  This gorgeous little girl took me by surprise! When we “schedule” newborn shoots, we know that we really have little to say about when it will actually happen. Babies have their own plans….and it’s so important to get them in those first 10 days after birth….that’s when they still truly look like newborns. They are...  Such a cute little guy! Love the emotion here! This shot just makes me so happy….you have to smile when you see it! This first shot was an “outtake”, but boy, I thought it was just so sweet. This is an adorable family.
