Do you do senior reps? A very common question, but I’ve got a pretty different answer than most.
I allow every single one of my seniors to be a senior rep if they want to be! When I first started out, I chose a handful of seniors to be “senior reps”, they would receive goodies….free print credits, gift certificates, etc. But I noticed that some of them referred a lot of their friends and some not so much. So now what I do is give every senior rep cards with pictures of them in a cute little tin like in the pictures below and what they do with that opportunity is up to them!
For every friend referred to Jen Mahoney Photography who completes a session, the person/family who referred them will have the choice of either $25 in gift certificates (to Starbucks, itunes, Jamba Juice, etc) or $50 in extra prints! Now, you can imagine that this can add up very quickly, because there is no limit to how many referrals you can have! Imagine if you referred 10 other seniors for their senior portraits…you would have the choice of either $250 in gift certificates or $500 in free prints! Imagine if you referred 20….that would be $500 in gift certificates, $1000 in free prints….that would pay for your entire session! Awesome!
And the extra little bonus? Each person you referred also gets goodies! 8 free wallets with your order, just for being referred by your friend! AND the opportunity to refer all of your friends for referral $, just like your friend got!
