Category Archives: Personal We’ve got a gorgeous tree this year, I love to get the biggest that will fit in our living room! My husband likes to get a normal-sized tree, so we met somewhere in the middle with a 10 footer this year. It’s not my fault that the ceilings are high, I think they need to...  I’m always so thrilled when I get to photograph extended family. This lovely is my cousin….well, my cousin’s daughter, so does that make her my second cousin? Whatever….I think she’s amazing and she’s my family. Our scheduled shoot date came up against a ton of rain, but we had to push through it and continue...  Yucky instant mashed potatoes, cheapo white rice, and plates and plates of whipped cream (aka pie-in-the-face)……two words….FOOD FIGHT!!! And can you believe that this was grandma’s idea? She thought the kids would love it, and boy they did! What a memory! Nephews getting aunts, cousins splattering cousins! Shampooing with potatoes and rice…..boy did they smell...  I waited patiently as the procession started, my turn was coming soon. Then it was time…I held onto my father’s outstretched arm and started the walk down the aisle to my new life. Then it came to an abrupt halt. We both stopped and turned around, confused. The friends and family looked on, thinking “runaway...  I was asked to exhibit my work at a local art gallery….so exciting! It is at the Glatt House Gallery, in Woodburn, and will run for the entire month of September.
